Book News: Alexander McCall Smith pens online novel
I'm sure Alexander McCall Smith is a familiar name to many. He's the author of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. I recently received news that he's writing his first ever online novel for The Telegraph. A new chapter of Corduroy Mansions will be posted every day for twenty weeks until the novel is complete. It's interactive, as well, with the ability to post suggestions for the author. And if you're too busy to read, you can listen to it online, as well. You can sign up for the feed to have it delivered directly to your email or Reader each day. You can also track it on Twitter.This is truly an experience!

At least one of the books in this series is nominated for one of my online group reads at least once every couple of months. It hasn't won yet though so I might have to pick these up on my own eventually.
I love these new interactive experiences that authors seem to be doing lately!!!
I've never read his series, but I know so many people who have and loved it. I'm going to have to check it out one day. In the meantime, I have to check out this new interactive experience. Sounds awesome!
